Beaphar Pest Spray

Beaphar skin spray, solution for rabbits, rodents, ferrets, cage and aviary birds and pigeons to combat vermin (lice, mites and fleas). This spray is effective for weeks.

Directions for use and dosage: Shake before use.

Birds: take the bird in your hand and spray briefly from a distance of approximately 25-30 cm. Small birds (up to 100 grams) spray 1-2 times and large birds 3-5 times. Start at the tail and spray against the direction of the feathers. Always spray only on the plumage and not on the head and unfeathered skin.
Treat the head as follows: spray the liquid on a cloth or glove and rub the feathers of the head. In case of an infestation, treat all birds. Ensure good ventilation during and after treatment. If necessary, repeat treatment after 2 weeks. Preferably use a glove (plastic) for the hand in which you hold the bird. Remove bath water after treatment. The spray is effective for 2 weeks as long as the birds do not bathe.

Rabbits, rodents and ferrets: rub vigorously through the coat and spray against the hair. Leave for a minute. Then comb the coat. Spray small animals such as guinea pigs 2-3 times, large rabbits and ferrets 3-5 times. As long as the animal is bothered by vermin, treat every 2 weeks, especially in those places where the vermin gather.

Side effects: none known. If you notice serious side effects or other reactions, you are requested to inform your veterinarian.

Safety precautions for the user: toxic to fish and bees. May cause long-term adverse effects in the aquatic environment. Avoid contact with eyes, nose, ears, mouth and anus. For external use on animals only. Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Keep away from food, drink and animal feeding stuffs. Wash hands after use. For external use on animals only. Flammable. Avoid open flames, sparks and do not smoke during use. Vapours may cause drowsiness and dizziness. Do not inhale spray mist. Use only in well-ventilated areas.

Storage and disposal recommendations: Store in the original container at room temperature in a dry, dark and well-ventilated place. Do not allow to enter watercourses as this may be dangerous for fish and other aquatic organisms. Any unused veterinary medicinal product or waste materials derived from such veterinary medicinal products should be disposed of in accordance with local requirements.
