Beaphar Anti-Myiasis Myiasis Rabbit is a handy skin spray that provides one month of protection against myiasis in rabbits. Myiasis is a real danger, especially for rabbits that live outside. However, rabbits that live inside can also be visited by blowflies through open windows! These blowflies are attracted by droppings that stick to the rabbit's rear end. The fly lays eggs in the droppings or on the animal's skin, after which the maggots start to gnaw through the skin and can cause blood poisoning, infections or even death. Reduce the risk of this with this spray from Beaphar, which can be easily sprayed onto the rabbit's fur. This spray contains 0.5 mg/ml Ivermectin, which kills the eggs and maggots. Please note: the adult fly is not killed! So always ensure sufficient hygiene and consult the vet immediately if you find maggots. The spray is effective for one month.
