What is HatchRite
HatchRite is a specially developed breeding substrate for reptile eggs. It has been used successfully for many years by American breeders, who were able to significantly increase their hatching percentages thanks to HatchRite. HatchRite has already been used successfully for the incubation of bearded dragons, leopard geckos, crested geckos, corn snakes, ball pythons, tree pythons, woma pythons and many more.

Usage
In optimal conditions, use a closed incubator with a ventilation hole of approx. 4 mm. Fill the tank with HatchRite to a depth of at least 5 cm and bury the eggs 2/3 of the way in. There should be at least 4 cm of HatchRite under the eggs. Larger eggs such as those of tiger pythons require a substrate layer of at least 10 cm.

Adding water is not necessary, because HatchRite already has the correct substrate moisture. Moistening HatchRite afterwards is normally not required, but may be necessary if there are multiple ventilation surfaces. In that case, add some water to one side of the brooder, it will automatically spread.

Open the tank once a week to check, this is important for air exchange. Moldy and dead eggs should be removed immediately. Always keep the bag tightly closed so that the HatchRite does not dry out.
