The Trixie Reptiland Coconut Fiber 9 liters cocopeat is a substrate for terrariums with reptiles or spiders and environments where high humidity is desired, such as some lizards or snakes. This natural, organic product expands seven or eight times its original size when water is added. The coconut fiber retains moisture very well and for a long time and is therefore perfect for use in rainforest terrariums, humid shelters and other environments where the humidity must be constantly high. Of course, it is also possible to let the soil dry for longer and use it in drier terrariums. Due to its soft structure, the coconut fiber is pleasant for the animal and there is no chance that it will swallow large pieces when catching its prey.
Trixie Reptiland's coconut fibre is heat treated and mould free and also free of fertilisers. Natural, safe and easy to use!
